Practice prescriptions can be ordered either via Patient Access or by handing your slip in directly to the practice.

Acute / Urgent Orders
Acute / Urgent Prescription Ordering can be made under certain circumstances online using our web form. To find out more please click the link below.
Direct to the Practice
Handing your repeat prescriptions list into the surgery by placing it in the box provided making sure you have ticked appropriate boxes. A repeat
prescription list may be given to you on collection from the pharmacy or a tear off slip may be attached to your prescription.
You can also use the online form to order your Acute Prescriptions / make prescription requests.
About Patient Access
Patient Access connects you to local health services when you need them most. Order repeat prescriptions and discover local health services for you or your family via your mobile or home computer.
Please note that in Scotland Patient Access MUST be set up via a code available from the Practice. Please ask at reception at contact us to obtain this.
Timescales
Please allow 5 working days to process your request for a repeat prescription.
Your Choice
By arrangement, your repeat prescription can be forwarded direct to a chemist of your choice.
Postage
If the prescription is to be posted please provide a stamped, addressed envelope.
Names
In line with NHS recommendations most prescriptions will bear the generic (scientific) name rather than the brand name. The effectiveness and safety of the generic preparation is identical to that of the brand name. If you are at all uncertain please check with your pharmacist or doctor.
